Analysis
It is no surprise that the states with laws in favor of workers tend to have more Democrats in their governments. The Democratic Party is pro-unionization. Most states in the Southern region have fewer laws that protect workers. In contrast, states in the Northeast and Pacific Coast regions have many laws that protect workers.
